Due to my neglect of JT-Culture, I never got around to uploading my photos from the last Okishima meet. Now I’m back on track, here they are! If you’re new to the blog, that’s my Sapphire blue 200SX S14a above. It sits on Work Meister S1 3 piece wheels (for the fitment geeks: 18×9 +14 225/40, 18×10 +0 245/40).
Although the meet was small, it was really successful. We met up at the MK Don’s stadium in Bletchley as it looked like a nice open space for some photos (McDonalds and KFC were also a stones throw away – very important). It was a relaxed, informal meet, but the larger blogs took notice, and we were featured on Speedhunters and Hellaflush. That’s Jord’s old FC in the above photo, before it got the SSR Professor treatment seen HERE.
Another Okishima car on SSR Profs is Morf’s red S13, seen above. It’s quite unique with the bold red paint, moulded fender flares and original cream leather – more GT cruiser than stripped out racer.
Lou’s white Celica GT4 sits next to Dan’s black S13. This GT4 has graced the pages of this blog a few times, formerly owned by my buddy, Barry. It’s an absolute weapon, seeing regular track time. The lateral grip in these road going rally cars is insane!
This is what Barry currently drives, a TVR Cerbera. Not the usual fare for an Okishima meet, but we don’t discriminate! This car is a stereotypical TVR, but Barry upgrades as he goes, so its a pretty well rounded sports car now. It also sees regular track time.

This is Joe’s S13, and yes, its on SSR Professors (SSR Profs and the equivalent Work Meister S1 seem to be the Okishima wheel of choice, for good reason).

My final photo, a rear quarter shot of Joe’s 180sx showing his awesome SSR Professors. This car has come a long way whilst in Joe’s ownership, and I believe there’s plans for a 1JZ!
So that’s my coverage from the last meet, sorry about the delay. We’ve organised a member’s meet for September, so I’ll be much more punctual with my photos. There’s also a few new cars in the ranks, so hopefully the next one will be bigger and better.
