The S-Chassis cars have come with a number of different engines, depending on year and location. The 240SX of America was factory equipped with the KA24 engine, whereas the 200SX of Europe was equipped with the CA18DET (for S13s), and the SR20DET (for S14s). Here  are some pictures of Lloyd’s stunning DC5 Integra Type R. With a full Mugen kit and wing, and a white on white colour scheme, this car is extremely eye-catching. These particular pictures are pretty dated now, but they were getting a lot of positive attention over on Honda-Tech, so I thought I’d post them here for everyone else to see. I wasn’t really too happy with the way they came out, but the car is stunning, so makes up for the poor photo quality. There aren’t many Honda DC5s with the full Mugen kit, so I hope you enjoy the pictures!- JTC

Limelite limos hosted November’s Milton Keynes Japanese Car meet, whilst collecting money for Willen Hospice; a local charity. Despite the freezing weather, the meet was a success and large selection of Japanese car owners turned up for a chat and to take some photos (with an unusual amount of White Skylines!). Ray bought his Toyota Yaris almost two years ago. Since then he has invested in some of the finest Japanese parts available for his car, to make it a reliable and fun daily driver. In the engine department, the yaris features a Yashio factory exhaust manifold, downpipe and decat, mated to a Fujitsubo power getter exhaust. An Apexi induction kit further frees up the car’s breathing, and a Perrin lightweight crank pulley reduces some of the strain on the engine. There is also a Carbon Fibre engine cover to add a clean touch to the engine bay.

Suspension wise, Ray uses Tein Super Wagon fully adjustable coilovers. To further stiffen things up, Ray invested in a Tanabe 4 point under brace, Dyna Autosport front strut brace, and OMP upper rear strut brace. Finally, a C-One anti roll bar reduces some of the unwanted body roll. The car sits on gunmetal Buddyclub P1 Racing SF wheels, Falken ZE512 tyres, all held on with Rays locking wheel nuts.

The Yaris has had its brakes overhauled with 3G grooved and dimpled discs all round, Endless 9500 brake pads, Goodrich braided brake lines and Motul dot 5.1 brake fluid.

Cosmetically, the changes to the Yaris are subtle. It features a Carbon Fibre bonnet, TRD front lip, LED rear lights, tinted windows, and Ray has also debadged the car to emphasize the overall clean look.

On the inside, Ray has installed Cobra clubman seats, Sabelt 3-point harnesses, a TRD gearknob, and a TRD pedal set. To lighten up the Yaris, Ray has also extensively stripped the rear.

This was a small, informal meet, but a few lovely cars showed up. In the pictures below you will see a silver EK featuring a turbo’d D-series lump, a black EK9, a blue EK Vti on buddyclub wheels, a White CRX Del Sol Vti, and my blue S14a.

This mini-meet was organised by some of the Portsmouth members of Civicsportsclub. It was a small informal meet, but the quality of Civic was extremely high, with an EK9 and an EK turbo amongst the lineup. (Click here for full article)

Feeling the need to update the website, and reminiscing about the past SOX Japanese Car Meets, I decided to pick a few photos and upload them. The pictures are a couple of years old now, but the quality of car is extremely high.

You’ll notice that the pictures are quite Pulsar GTi-R heavy. This is for a number of reasons:

1) There were some beautiful examples at these particular meets
2) I have a huge soft spot for them
3) Our U.S cousins seem to take a keen interest in them, so I’ve uploaded a few more pics for their benefit (hello Honda-Tech!)

You may also notice that there are 3 different locations in these pics. One is Caldecotte Lake, one is Walnut Tree, and one is a Mitsubishi Dealer - all in Milton Keynes, where these meets have been held.
